PRIVACY POLICY FOR FaultLoom

FaultLoom is an offline troubleshooting and diagnostic workflow application published by KASH & NEEV PROPERTIES LTD, United Kingdom (UK). For privacy or product enquiries, contact [email protected].

The app allows you to create or edit troubleshooting guides, categories, tags, branching steps, questions, answers, manual observations, session history, pinned guides and session outcomes. These records are stored in your device's local app storage. App preferences such as onboarding completion, theme and region are also saved locally. Insights and statistics are calculated from those on-device records.

This release does not require an account, sign-in or an internet connection. The app does not automatically send your guide content, session data, notes or usage analytics to KASH & NEEV PROPERTIES LTD or a remote server. No advertising, analytics, remote authentication, online payment or cloud database SDKs are included in the inspected project. User-entered data is used locally to run workflows, show history and insights, and produce reports. The developer does not receive that locally stored content through normal app use.

The current Android manifest does not declare INTERNET, location, camera, microphone, contacts, SMS or all-files access permissions. All three onboarding illustrations and app branding are bundled in the installation and do not require image downloads. FaultLoom does not scan device hardware to diagnose faults automatically.

You can choose to export session reports as PDF, history as CSV, and local records as JSON backup files using Android's system document picker. You choose the destination. Backups and exports can contain your own notes and other information; they are not automatically encrypted by the app. If you save, copy or share a file with another app, email service, cloud provider or person, its handling is outside this app's control. Protect and delete exported copies as appropriate.

The Contact feature prepares an email addressed to [email protected] using an installed email app. Messages are not sent automatically. You decide whether to send them and which information to include. Emails that you send are handled by your mail provider and the recipient; the email may include personal data you choose to provide. We use voluntary support messages to respond to your enquiry. Do not include passwords or confidential troubleshooting records unless essential.

Android's app sandbox is used for local app data. The app does not claim end-to-end encryption or encrypted backups. Records remain stored locally until you delete individual records, clear local data, or uninstall the app, subject to platform behavior. Settings provides a clear-all local data option. Files that you exported remain at their chosen locations and must be deleted separately. Android automatic app backup is disabled in this project's manifest. Support emails you voluntarily send are not part of the local app database and may remain in email systems under the applicable providers' and recipient's retention practices; contact us for questions about support correspondence.

This is a general-purpose productivity utility rather than a service directed at children. It does not provide medical diagnosis, professional safety certification, automatic device inspection or guaranteed repair outcomes. Avoid storing unnecessary sensitive data in your guides and session notes. Stop troubleshooting work that could be unsafe and follow manufacturer/professional safety guidance.

We may update this privacy policy when the app's features or data handling change. The updated policy will be available within the app and on the publisher's public privacy policy page. The effective date above identifies this version.
