FAULTLOOM · OFFLINE TROUBLESHOOTING

Make every fix easier to follow.

Build branching guides, record each check, and keep your troubleshooting history right on your device.

ABOUT FAULTLOOM

Troubleshooting that keeps its place.

When a problem has more than one possible cause, a clear sequence matters. FaultLoom lets you turn your own observations and checks into repeatable guides instead of rebuilding the same process from memory.

Turn scattered notes into a usable workflow

Create guides that lead from one question to the next, with branching steps that reflect what you actually observe. Add categories and tags so related troubleshooting paths are easier to organize.

As you work, record manual observations and session outcomes. Your guides, history and insights remain in local app storage, so the normal workflow does not require an account or an internet connection.

KEY FEATURES

Practical tools for each troubleshooting session.

FaultLoom combines guide building, decision paths and record keeping in one local workflow. Each feature helps you stay organized while you investigate and document an issue.

Create your own guides

Write and edit troubleshooting guides for situations you deal with regularly. Keep questions, answers and step details together so the process is easy to repeat.

Follow branching steps

Move through a guide based on the answer or observation at each point. Different outcomes can lead to different next steps instead of a single fixed checklist.

Sort with categories and tags

Group guides around the subjects that matter to you. Categories and tags give your growing collection useful structure without depending on an online service.

Keep session history

Save what happened during each troubleshooting session, including its outcome. Look back at previous attempts rather than relying on incomplete recollections.

Pin useful guides

Keep frequently needed workflows close at hand by pinning guides. Local insights and statistics are calculated from your saved records to help you review activity.

Export when you choose

Save PDF session reports, CSV history or JSON backups through Android's document picker. You choose the destination and are responsible for protecting copies you export.

HOW IT WORKS

From a question to a documented outcome.

FaultLoom is designed around a straightforward process: build a guide, follow it as you check the situation, and keep a record of what you found. The actual observations and decisions remain yours.

01

Build a guide

Set up a guide with steps, questions, possible answers, categories and tags.

02

Work through checks

Follow branches according to your own inspection and manual observations.

03

Record the result

Finish the session with an outcome and keep its history on the device.

04

Review or export

Use local insights or selectively save a PDF, CSV or JSON file for your own use.

TRUST, SAFETY & PRIVACY

Your notes stay local in normal use.

FaultLoom is built for on-device guide creation and troubleshooting history. The current release does not require sign-in or internet access, and it does not automatically transmit your guide content or session notes to the publisher.

Clear boundaries around your information

Guide content, preferences, manual observations and outcomes are saved locally. Exporting is optional and files are not automatically encrypted by the app; anyone you share them with may handle them under different practices.

FaultLoom does not automatically inspect hardware or certify a repair. Follow professional or manufacturer guidance whenever physical troubleshooting could be unsafe.
